AMS Featured on ‘Cutting Edge’

We were honored to be featured again on ‘Cutting Edge’ a popular program hosted by Mike Wankum, WCVB Channel 5 (ABC affiliate). Our team took Mike and Karen of WCVB to sea on our chase boat Violet Frances to witness our innovative new Njord design vessel embark on its maiden mission with a LiDAR unit deployed. The system has been developed with support from Equinor AS and MassCEC and will dramatically improve wind resource assessment surveys, a vital input to Offshore Wind Development. The feature aired several times beginning with the prime time news on Friday Sept 6th and generated significant viewership interest despite strong competition from the US Open Tennis Championship finals and the season opener New England Patriots matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers!
